RamSite^TMis a system based on Internet developed by Ramboll to support establishment and operation and maintenance of telecommunication network. In principle the system can, however, be used for all types of equipment for site positioning, where e.g. establishment or operation on all sites have almost the same process.

The core in RamSite^TM is project management understood as planning and follow-up on progress. Round this core are a number of other modules. The various modules are described separately:

RamSite^TMmanages the progress in the project, from the preliminary plan to the site is on-air and the maintenance phase. All parties (the operator, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers) can have access to RamSite^TM 24 hours a day. Which data the individual user has access to are controlled by a privileges system.

By using RamSite^TM as reporting tool, a joint terminology and joint understanding at all involved parties are supported. Data are registered in the same way by all and can be analyzed and reported with the help of a long number of reports of technical, financial and progress nature. Furthermore, it is possible to exchange data with other planning tools, MapInfo and financial systems.

When a network or other equipment reaches the operation and maintenance phase, RamSite^TM supports the planning of periodical supervision and periodical maintenance. Visit can be planned appropriately, supervision lists can be printed and afterwards deviations can be registered in the system for further follow-up.
