The Initial Phase
Ramboll Radio Planning Services take offset in the business planning and the service coverage and service quality objectives defined in cooperation with our client. Signal strength thresholds are defined according to required on-street, in-car and in-door coverage requirements.
Link budgets are developed in cooperation with the client, taking offset in the Radio Equipment specifications and coverage requirements, and propagation models are adapted for the local environment to ensure accurate modeling of planned coverage.
A nominal cell plan is provided defining the location and height for all nominal sites and this is used for initiating the site acquisition process. Site candidates are evaluated and accepted.
