Design of Communication/transmission line towers
Based on the client specifications tower models are created. The analysis and design of towers are carried out using in-house developed software’s as a pin jointed 3D space truss model and by using various design standards available. Optimization of tower weight is the key parameter to reduce the complete project cost.
Proof checking of towers
Telecom Operators and some of Transmission line tower design customers refers us for checking of their towers for original or any additional loading requirements. Particularly in Telecom towers have to be re-checked for carrying additional antennas to be mounted on the tower. In this case towers are checking for strength and serviceable requirements with new and existing loadings. If necessary recommendation can be given based on the analysis results.
Building stability checking for additional loadings (Tower/Shelter/D.G Set)
For installation of Towers/Shelter/D.G Set on the Rooftop, building needs to be analyzed and checked for these additional loadings. In this case existing building are checking for strength and serviceability based on the detailed information collected from site. If necessary recommendations can be given based on the analysis results.
Foundation designs for Roof top towers/Shelter/D.G Set
For installation of Towers/Shelter/D.G Set on the Rooftop of the building, foundation design and construction drawings are prepared with necessary construction guidelines.
Foundation designs for ground based communication & Transmission line towers
For installation of Towers/Shelter/D.G Set on the ground, foundation design and construction drawings are prepared with necessary construction guidelines based on the detailed review of soil investigation parameters.
Soil report review and recommendation of foundation designs for ground based towers
In order to reduce the time for design of foundations, few set of soil parameter were identified based on the past experience covering all set of soil types (generally encountered across the country) and generic foundations (Library) are designed for a given particular tower. Based on the soil investigation report, suitable generic foundation shall be suggested under economical considerations.
Detailing of Communication & Transmission line towers
Based on GA drawing from structural design, detailing of tower will be done. For fabrication of towers, drawings needed indicating hole-to-hole dimensions and cut length of members/ plates. In the detailing of towers these details will be provided to the fabricators by assembly drawings, shop sketches and also for weight calculations complete bill of material for tower will be provided.
Preparation of As built drawings
After completion of total site activities, based on client confirmation, as built drawings will be prepared for total site indicating tower, shelter & D.G Set along with individual component positions.
Approval, Tower testing Co-ordination
Based on the client requests, approval from Government agencies and tower testing co-ordinations will be done for Communication and Transmission line towers. |
